Tahlia McGrath: Very happy with that. I thought Ash and Bells(Annabel) were unbelievable with the bat and ball. What’s been pleasing about this series is someone different has stood up each game, we back each other to perform this way. Our batting was the highlight, how we played in the second game with our top four where everyone got on and we wanted to score as many runs as possible. In patches, we have been good with the ball but there’s something to learn out there with how aggressive we can be with our plans.

Harmanpreet Kaur: I think we bowled really well, especially Arundhati. Lots of learning for us from this tour, the way they bowled and batted. We will go back and analyze the whole tour and understand where we went wrong. Smriti’s knock was fantastic. We did well in patches but we didn’t continue our momentum, that’s what we need to work on.

Annabel Sutherland | Player of the Match and Player of the Series: It was tough. The Indian girls, particularly the quicks challenged us and made it tough. The way Ash and I were able to build and grind through was key. It is always tough to find ways to climb up the order, the girls have batted beautifully throughout the series. I think we just need to look after our bodies and travel and work hard to get used to such conditions.

The pitch had flattened out considerably when it was India's turn to bat. They lost Ghosh early but Mandhana and Deol stitched together a 118-run stand for the second wicket, capitalising on some loose bowling and shoddy fielding. Ellyse Perry, in particular, was quite wayward with the ball. Deol was dismissed for 39, but Mandhana kept going and India were looking good while she was there. However, Ash Gardner scripted a dramatic turnaround for the hosts, picking up a five-for in quick time towards the back end.

20:14 Local Time, 12:14 GMT, 17:44 IST: A run-chase that showed a lot of promise has fizzled out rather tamely for India. With 15 overs left and Mandhana batting superbly, they were very much in with a shout. But from that point, things went horribly wrong as they collapsed in a heap - losing 7 wickets for just 35 runs. So Australia complete a 3-0 series whitewash, having been the superior team by a long distance in these conditions. They actually lost a crucial toss today and were put into bat on a pitch which offered a good deal of help to the seamers earlier. But apart from Arundhati Reddy, who was superb for her 4/26, the rest of the indian bowlers couldn't make the most of it. Annabel Sutherland's hundred led the recovery for the hosts, and along with contributions from Gardner and McGrath, took them to a formdiable total of 298.
