Building Your Player

Before you dive into choosing your player build, you’ll first have to pick which team you’ll play for. Unlike the MyCareer mode with the NBA, your WNBA player will automatically start. That means you don’t need to spend too much time researching which teams specifically need a point guard or a center before creating your player. If your main goal is overall team success, the Las Vegas Aces won the WNBA championship, so they should be at the top of your list.

Once you’ve picked which squad you’ll represent, it’s time to choose your player type. While the player type is generated based on how you allocate your attribute points in MyCareer, your WNBA player type can be selected. There are ten different player types to choose from; the player types are not restricted by position, so feel free to choose whichever fits your style. You can adjust your player’s height, weight, and wingspan after you’ve selected your player type. Adjustments made to these three categories will impact your attributes either negatively or positively.
