India were unaffected by the two quick wickets as Rohit and Rayudu combined for a 211-run stand to set the platform for India's massive total.In the process, Rohit went past Tendulkar's tally of sixes and raised a record seventh 150-pus score in ODIs. Rayudu then took charge, after Rohit's dismissal, and raised his third ODI ton. Khaleel Ahmed broke the back of WI's chase with his two quick wickets at the top. India had six wickets in the bag inside 14th over, and the result of the game was pretty obvious from there on. Holder delayed the inevitable with his fifty but couldn't save his side from the embarrassment of a big defeat. Seriesscore: India 2: 1 Windies. Bring it on, Thiruvananthapuram!

India win by 224 runs!A three-fer for Kuldeep too and Windies succumb to 153 in this massive chase of 378. Quite an anti-climatic game after what they pulled off in Vizag and then in Pune.

FIFTY:Holder's fifty delaying the inevitable. Makes one wonder why he doesn't bat higher up the order! Windies, meanwhile, inching closer to the 150 mark that seemed impossible not so long ago.

The ninth one:Jadeja opens his account, courtesy some lightening fast glovework by MSD behind the stumps. Keemo Paul falls after contributing 18-ball 19 to the (lost) cause. India only a wicket away from an unassailable series lead.

Khaleel on fire

The young left-arm pacer is making this fairly new ball talk under lights. He has taken three in a hurry to leave Windies on the mat. Hetymer - the other form player for Windies - was opened up with a lovely outswinger, getting pinned to the crease and trapped in front of the stumps. Rovman Powell never gave himself a chance, looking for an ambitious hoick against an inswinger and leaving his stumps in a mess. And then Samuels copped another failure, edging Khaleel's slanter to first slip.

Windies start on the wrong foot

Horrible start from the Windies, reeling at 24/3 in seven overs. Among those three wickets were two run-outs, caused by confusion between the batsmen and sealed by electrifying efforts from Kuldeep Yadav and Virat Kohli. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had provided the opening breakthrough by getting Chandrapaul Hemraj to drive uppishly to cover, before some panicky running took over. Shai Hope, their star batsman this series, succumbed for a duck, while Powell got dismissed for 4.

India finish with 377!

India post the highest total of the series and it was Rohit and Rayudu that helped them to the monumental score. India got their first 50-plusopening stand, but Dhawan and Kohli departed almost in succession. Rohit kept going and Rayudu provided the perfect foil as the duo added 211 for the third wicket. Both reached hundreds with Rohit looking good for his fourth double, but got out on 162. Dhoni and Jadhav played cameos to get 116 runs off the last 10 overs.

Hundred and out!

Fabien Allen shows off why he's considered as one of the best fielders in the Windies unit. The bowler chases a ball of his own bowling, turns around and breaks the stumps to catch Rayudu short of the crease. Gone for 100!

No. 4 spot sealed?

Ambati Rayudu has had scores of 60, 31*, 13, 12*, 57, 2, 22*, 73, 22 - since his return to the side, but that big score eluded him, but the Hyderabad batsman put that to rest with his third ODI ton, which came off just 80 balls.

No double hundred!

Rohit chases a wide one from Nurse and can only slice it to short third man. He won't add to his collection of double-hundreds today, but what a sensational innings.

The hosts have raised the tempo considerably since the 30th over. They've scored 100 runs in the next 11 overs with both, Rohit and Rayudu, going great guns. A total of something well above 350 is on the cards.

Rohit cruises to hundred:

It's been an effortless journey for Rohit, right from the time he charged at Roach in the fourth over and deposited him on the midwicket roof. His home crowd is thrilled as he glides Nurse past point to raise a 21st ODI hundred.

Rohit-Rayudu partnership eases India:

Rayudu has settled in fairly quickly after Kohli's dismissal, giving good company to Rohit Sharma who is moving along without much trouble.

Good ball from Roach, went in wide of the crease and got it to hold its line and touch after getting Kohli forward in defence. Outside edge through to the keeper. Crowd left stunned as the Indian captain walks back.

Another wasted start from the southpaw, swatting Keemo Paul's short ball straight to midwicket. Ooooh, spicy, Paul celebrates with Dhawan's trademark thigh-slap, evoking a grin from the dismissed batsman.

Talking of the Brabourne Stadium...

Here's a little backstory from Aayush Puthran: As per legends, the stadium was built in retaliation to the Bombay Gymkhana - which had hosted the first-ever Test in India. As per Sachin Bajaj, "back then in Bombay Gymkhana, the rule was - Indians and dogs not allowed." It's quite ironic that Cricket Club of India now themselves have some hoity-toity rules. Don't think there are dresscodes for scribes in any other stadium.

Delightful strokeplay:

It's only the eighth over and India have brought up their fifty already. Rohit started the attack, charged down to Roach and deposited him on the roof over midwicket in the fourth over. Dhawan has since taken over, playing two delightful pick-up shots for sixes. Windies tried slowing things down with spin, bringing Nurse on, but Dhawan put him away for consecutive boundary as well.

Rohit Sharma capitalizes on the width on offer, carves his first ball to the point fence. With Dhawan on strike though, Roach is sharper. He spears a full ball into his pads, certain LBW if not for an inside edge.

There may be problems with India's middle-order, but one thing the hosts have going for them, one fail-safe that is always there to rely on - their skipper. Aayush Puthran writes on how the Kohli routine rolls on.

Hello and welcome to the fourth ODI from Brabourne. Against all expectations, this series is still very much alive with a second-string Windies team making India answer some very uncomfortable questions. Will it be more of the same today? Or will India finally hit the straps. There's an added layer of Brabourne hosting its first ODI after 12 years too. Will be good to go back to an old-school venue - away from all the giant concrete monstrosities.
