Easy peasy in the end.Keiron Pollard and Krunal Pandya ensure MI have completed the chase easily in the end with three balls to spare. Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav set the tone and made it easy for the rest with respective fifties. Even though they fell soon after, it didn't matter given that the equation of runs vs balls was in favour of Mumbai by then. They chased down 163 with five wickets in hand, picking up their fifth win. Mumbai top the table with that win with Delhi a close second.

Superb win this, from Mumbai Indians. They're really looking like a side who are extremely tough to beat. They have the bowlers, the batsmen are doing the job. They're such a well-rounded unit that no team are able to pose those tough questions so far in the season. As games have passed, they have only increased their consistency and are delivering match-winning performances time and again.

DC would've felt they fell 15 short in the end. Stoinis's untimely run out hurt them. Hetmyer and Pant missing also could've played a part. Carey couldn't get going nor could Rahane given it was their first games this season. They still have much to do, but they will want to keep the winning momentum going, with them having five wins under their belt thus far.

A 30-ball half-century for Surya. He's found his rhythm alright. Delhi found a little opening after but he has slammed it back on their faces with this knock. Top performance once more.

MI NEED 163 TO WIN!Mumbai have done really well here to keep DC to 162/4. They started off well sending back Shaw and Rahane early, but a comeback stand staged by Iyer and Dhawan saw them back in the game. However, Iyer and the in-form Stoinis falling in quick succession meant that DC ended up with maybe 10-15 short of what they could've got. Dhawan remained unbeaten in the end on 69 off 52, but couldn't give them a late flourish to finish with over 170.

However, it looks like a par score on this wicket. Will be interesting to see how MI go about the chase against a very efficient DC bowling outfit.

Alex Carey will keep wickets and that means Hetmyer misses out. Ajinkya Rahane comes in for his DC debut. Wonder where he'll bat though. Remember Pant was hobbling in that game against the Royals. That must be the injury they're talking about.

Preview: Teams that love batting first

Both teams have preferred to bat first in this edition of IPL. Delhi's only loss came when they chased in the game against SRH. Mumbai's only run chase came against RCB which they lost in the Super Over. It's going to be a used pitch in Abu Dhabi, that should make The Toss all the more crucial.

Prelude - Defending champions vs League Leaders

Hello. Go back to the early part of the last decade and there were only two teams really pushing Mumbai Indians: Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

Now a new challenger has emerged. Delhi Capitals, with their array of youngsters, made playoffs last season. But now they're gunning for top honours. They've been the form team of the first half of IPL 2020, having lost just the one game so far. That's one fewer than the defending champions, who they face in this tasty top of the table clash at Abu Dhabi.

As with any IPL game, this one too will be about matchups and personalities. But don't forget one man sitting at the head of the DC support staff. Ricky Ponting! He was part of that revolution at MI and their title wins in 2013 and 2015 (as head coach). He knows all about how that team functions.
