RCB clinch a last ball thriller!

AB de Villiers' blitz in the end proved to be decisive, particularly after he successfully went after both Boult and Bumrah, but it was not without thrills. De Villiers was run out two runs away from victory with as many balls left. But Siraj and Harshal Patel managed to squeeze out two runs off the final two deliveries bowled by Marco Jansen. And that seals a memorable win for RCB, who have hit the ground running with some of their key problem-areas being filled in superbly.

WICKET: Bumrah gets another

Dan Christian does not make much of an impact. He tries to ride the bounce on a short one and cut it down but finds the man at point. RCB are stuttering now with the finish line not too far away.

Jansen strikes twice!

Maxwell and Shahbaz Ahmed fall in the same over. Jansen has Maxwell turning a catch down to short fine leg and then has Ahmed pulling to deep square leg. RCB have lost three in no time and are suddenly stumbling.

WICKET: Bumrah bags Kohli

Rohit Sharma turned to his strike bowler just as RCB were threatening to run away with the game, and he delivers perfectly. Kohli walks across his stumps and is hit high on the front pad and in line with the stumps, falls for a 29-ball 33.

Maxwell, Kohli get RCB back on track

The former has come out in quite an aggressive mood. He's connected his switch hits against the leggie and even launched one onto the roof at Chepauk. The partnership is blossoming now.

WICKET: Patidar falls to Boult

The debutant chops one on from Boult and falls for 8. RCB lose two inside the powerplay, and now Kohli is joined by Maxwell.

Harshal Patel bags five; kept down to 159

With a mix of stunning yorkers tailing in, and well disguised slower balls, Harshal Patel became the first bowler to pick a five-fer against MI. The death overs were bossed by RCB and are in the driver's seat now, chasing a total of just 160.

Kishan's luck runs out

He was dropped twice - once by Siraj and once off Siraj - during his 28. And was even adjudged not out by Nitin Menon, against a stone dead yorker. But Harshal Patel pushes for the review and it turns out to be successful. RCB are not letting MI get away in these end overs.

He misses a full toss, done in by a slower one and is caught plumb in front. Nitin Menon is proved right once again through the review.

WICKET: Jamieson gets Suryakumar

A flashy cameo comes to an end. Suryakumar hit four fours and a six in his 23-ball 31 but gets a thick edge attempting to cut Jamieson and is caught behind.

On a slowsurface, this duo is laying into RCB's second line of attack and have added some quick runs after the powerplay.

A mix-up between Lynn and Rohit sees the latter depart. Lynn tapped the ball to the left of Kohli at cover and started for a quick single but stopped midway leaving Rohit stranded and run out comfortably.
