Zimbabwe have stunned Pakistan and handed them their second successive last-ball defeat in the 2022 world cup. However, in this case, Pakistan allowed the momentum to slip away. Led by Sikandar Raza's three wickets, Zimbabwe secured a one-run win. There were several individual performances of note by Pakistan - by Mohammad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Shan Masood and Haris Rauf. However, Pakistan slipped away at crucial moments in the game and allowed Zimbabwe to register a come-from-behind win while defending 130.

The duo combined to bag seven wickets to trigger a drastic collapse, and were well aided by Haris Rauf, who proved hard to score off.This should be an easy chase for Pakistan, ideally. But funnier things have happened in cricket.

This will be the first contest for the Babar Azam-led side the thriller at MCG against India.
