At the halfway mark of the innings when Mohit Sharma was introduced into the attack, Jacks was on 16 off 16 balls and in the last 25 balls he faced he scored 84 runs, off which 14 were boundaries. Jacks took just ten balls to go from 50 to 100 which is the quickest by any batter in IPL bettering Chris Gayle's 13 balls against PWI in Bengaluru in 2013.

Fastest IPL hundreds by balls faced

29 runs scored off the 16th over (Jacks 28 & Kohli 1) by Rashid Khan is the most ever off him in an over in IPL bettering 27 by Punjab Kings (Gayle 26 & Karun Nair 1) in Mohali in 2018.The only batter to score more off Rashid across all T20s (where ball by ball data is available) is AB de Villiers, who hit 29 off him at the Wankhede in WT20 2016 while Marco Jansen also hit 28 off him in Cape Town in SA20 2023.

166* The second wicket partnership of 166 off 74 balls by Jacks and Virat Kohli is the highest ever against Gujarat Titans in IPL surpassing 130 between Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag for the third wicket in Jaipur earlier in the season. This is the third 100+ stand against Titans this season having conceded just one each in each of the last two editions.

In those instances where he faced at least 20 balls of spin in an IPL innings, his strike rate has been bettered only twice, both in 2016: 240.90 (53 off 22 balls) against Punjab Kings and 188.46 (49 off 26) against Gujarat Lions, both in Bengaluru.
