Delhi Capitals overtake Mumbai Indians to go to the top of the table, albeit, they've played an extra game. This win has also boosted DC's NRR. For MI, their three-match winning streak has come to an end. Both their losses this season have come against the same team. They are still in a pretty good position though. That's it for today. Jess Jonassen | Player of the Match: I think it's a bit of a shock that I am up here. I think the skipper should be here having this conversation. After that first over, I knew there were a few balls I mis-executed, obviously a change in the plan towards the back end of the over with a change in field. I knew that getting the ball outside the powerplay, I'll be able put some pressure on them. It is nice, nice to get the wickets. Our whole bowling unit did a really exceptional job to put the pressure on. She (Minnu Mani) was incredible, she's an exceptionally talented bowler. It's pleasing to see her get the opportunity and take some wickets and some crucial ones as well. I had some conversations with her at different times. Her first over, she was a fraction short but the way she came back for her next two overs was incredible. The way Meg and Shafali got through the powerplay was pretty cool, happy to put my feet up tonight.

Meg Lanning: We wanted to come in and put all three facets together. We've had patches where we've played well. We wanted to keep improving throughout the tournament, we certainly feel like we are doing that with that performance tonight. We'll draw some great energy. Our bowlers set it up nicely, Shikha did extremely well in the powerplay. We get the win tonight, very happy with that, but come back tomorrow and hope to do the same. Maybe we were a touch short in the first over. We had to adjust our lengths and I thought Kappy and Shikha did that extremely well to be able to put them under the pump. And then Annabel Sutherland coming through the middle. And Minnu Mani, she's been bowling extremely well throughout the tournament, picked up a couple of crucial wickets as well. She's got some really incredible skills, some good variations as well. Some real improvement from the whole team and particularly local domestic Indian players which has been great to see. (On Sutherland's catch to dismiss Kerr) It was an incredible catch. We speak about it, wanting to attack every ball that goes in the air and try to get there. That was very crucial for us. We wanted to go out there and attack the powerplay. When you've got Shafali Verma down at the other end, that makes it a little bit easier. Nice to put Mumbai under pressure. It was a great battle with Ismail, she's played a lot of cricket, I have played a lot of cricket against her. She's a great competitor, I love coming up against her.

Jemimah Rodrigues: We badly wanted this win. We are not playing our best cricket but are getting the wins. Today was a massive win. We spoke about making our own energy, let it be the catch by Annabel or the stop by Minnu, everything just fell into place. Just keep going (message to the opening pair). Meg and Shafali have a good understanding. It was due and a WPL season is never over without my flossing (dance). Today there was good energy from the crowd and I had to do it.

Harmanpreet Kaur: I think today was one of the days when things didn't go according to plan. We struggled to score runs in the first six overs, we got some rhythm in the middle overs but we were not able to continue that. 120 was never going to be enough against a good side. We did everything right in the last three games and are still in a good position. I would like to tell them to just forget this game because there are more important games coming up.

In this season, team batting first won just once (UPW vs DC) in 13 games so far and at this venue, the record in favour of chasing side as well with 6-1.

22:26 Local Time, 16:56 GMT: Delhi Capitals go to the top of the points table with an emphatic win! Their bowlers did a tremendous job to restrict Mumbai Indians to 123. Picked just one wicket in the powerplay however they kept a tight lid on the scoring rate. Jonassen picked two crucial wickets and Mumbai Indians couldn't recover after that. In reply, the Capitals came out all guns blazing. There were a few plays-and-misses against Shabnim Ismail but the openers hit a flurry of boundaries as they raced to 57 in the powerplay. Shafali Verma continued to be aggressive and struck two sixes in an over against Kerr. She perished for a 28-ball 43 but she had done her job. Captain Lanning, who came into this match on the back of two low scores, recorded her second fifty of the season and fittingly hit the winning runs.
