Albie Morkel, Titans captain: It was a nice comeback from us. As good as it gets with the bat. Very disappointing in the field though. It was probably our worst fielding performance ever. They were probably flustered by the moment after the Lions got off to a good start. We'll talk about it in the changing room. The ball was flying tonight. I had a feeling that it could be a close game. The wicket was good enough. We're a good enough team to be much better in the field, everyone has to take it on the chin.

Vandiar, Batsman of the Match: I've got starts in every game, so I'm happy to kick on. Once we got in, got much easier. I'm more of a touch player. I just raised my intensity a little higher. Just will look to keep hitting my areas.

David Wiese, Bowler of the Match: I think sometimes you just get lucky on the night. My job was made easier because I was bowling to the long boundary. Try not to get hit for six [talking about his gameplan]. SuperSport Park can be unforgiving for the bowlers. It's all about execution.

They were off to a flier to as van der Dussen went berserk at the top but to sustain that level of hitting for the entirety of the 20 overs take some doing. The innings lost steam around the halfway mark and the rest was a mere formality. Excellent figures from Wiese, going at under six an over in a game like this is phenomenal. The only thing in which the Titans floundered was the catching. But when you have so many runs in the bank, it kind of makes up for some of the other lapses.
