Dane van Niekerk: We did not field well and that is something we have to work on. We pulled them back from what looked like a 300 score to 270. I am pleased with the way the girls have bounced back in this tournament so far. Would like to bounce back for the big game.

Rachael Haynes: I am happy with that (100% win record against South Africa). I am happy with the win today. It will be a big semi final and it is good to go there with a win. We came well with the ball. It wasn't a good start. With the bat we should look to finish things out. Like today we let the 300 score go. It is good to maintain some momentum before the semis.

Ellyse Perry: I think watching a little bit of Champions Trophy worked, there wasn't much swing. The wicket was very flat and it was good to bat on. It is nice to play against South Africa. Didn't start well against the spinner early on. I just want to work on my strike rate. Our fielding was pretty good and our batting set up the platform early on.

Australia are placed second on the points table with this convincing victory. South Africa started briskly and looked like they were there in the chase, but wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals which didn't help their cause. Laura Wolvaardt top scored with 71. She had a partnership going along with Trisha Chetty. A mix-up at a crucial moment set things up for Australia. Another excellent piece of work from Blackwell at cover had Marizanne Kapp stranded at the bowlers end just when she was looking to up the ante for South Africa. Jess Jonassen, Ellyse Perry and Rachael Haynes picked up two wickets apiece.
