Saad Zafar, Man of the Match: I am very proud. It feels surreal. I played as a bowling all-rounder in this tournament and to perform in the finals was great. Credit to Gayle for giving me this role. We restricted them to 145, I needed to bat out 20 overs and with Russell and Hayat in to come, anything under 10 was gettable. Credit to Dussen as well, he was instructing me on how to go about this chase. He played an amazing knock too.

Chris Gayle, winning captain: To be a captain of such a great team and to come out winning is a great feeling. We got beaten by Windies B in Qualifier 1, but we showed great character to comeback today. Credit to the fans to come out and support the tournament. Hopefully, it can become a bigger and better tournament next year. To lose three wickets it put us in a bit of pressure, but Zafar and Dussen batted really well to help us cross the line. It was a brilliant tournament. Young Gayle is back (laughs), I did it with my eyes closed (about the catch).

Anthony Bramble, losing captain: We didn't have the best of starts, we had partnerships and then kept losing wickets at regular intervals. That was a real setback. We had a good team, good energy. Thought this was the moment and we needed to stay in the game, but unfortunately it was not our day. We played well as a team, kudos to the guys. People did not see us winning a game in this tournament, but we fought hard and came to the finals.

The party has started for the Knights, the players storm into the field and whoop into a celebratory mode. Joyous faces in the camp, crazy scenes and Zafar is being lifted by some player on his shoulders. It just wasn't their day as a total of 145 was never going to challenge the mighty Knights. They did cause glitters in the Knights' camp after rattling their top three for 22. But local boy Zafar and Dussen played spoilsport, stitching an unbeaten 126-run stand and never let things go out of control at any point.
