Faf du Plessis: I want to thank the fans first. It was an amazing crowd. It feels like a party when you play cricket here. There were fantastic team performances throughout the tournament. We had a very team when it comes to taking pace off the ball.

Henry Davids, Man of the match: It's good to have my kids here, my mom and my wife are also here. It was a fairytale finish. I was very determined. And I was fully prepared for the final. As long as I win games for my team, I will be happy.

Heinrich Klaasen | losing captain: Told at the start during the toss, it's a different ball-game altogether. Couple of catches down, Davids played an unbelievable innings. It was very difficult for us to come back. I am very happy, tough loss. Shows you the character?the guys showed with the bat. This tournament is a good platform for youngsters. The crowd has been fantastic throughout. I enjoyed a couple of years?I've had with him (on Mark Boucher's appointment) and I know that he'll be successful. All the best to him and hopefully he can bring us some form of trophy in the next few years.

Sibonelo Makhanya: Very emotional, it's unbelievable. I always look as a player to contribute; our skipper made it a point to make that approach clear at the start and it feels great to have contributed. Paarl is a great place to play cricket. I thought it would be great to win it for the crowd at the start of the tournament, and at the end of it, it feels great to get there.?

Ferisco Adams: No words to express. Good performance from the guys. Happy to get over the line. Playing on his home ground, it was a special for himself (Davids) and for us. Very happy.

Kyle Verreynne:??Unbelievable. Really happy with the win. Our coach and our captain put a lot of emphasis?on a family sort of a vibe. Not that we didn't focus on the cricket but our focus was on getting everybody on board.?

Dwaine Pretorius:?The knock that he (Davids) played gave me a lot of confidence. I was dropped at the start but it was my night and I will take it. Unbelievable night. They (fans) are everything and we played for them. Also playing for Rocks, we played really well. I only thank god for the recovery. We have had performances all-round and everyone enjoyed it.

Henry Davids saved his best for the finals and set the stage on fire right from the word go. The opening partnership added 80 runs within 8 overs and killed the chase. Rocks did manage to dismiss Delport but Pretorius replaced him and smashed sixes for fun. From the other end, Henry Davids kept flaunting his pyrotechnics and in the end, it proved to be a cake in the walk for Rocks. Pretorious was dismissed in the end and that brought Faf to the crease and the winning runs came from the blade of the skipper. Hang around for the presentations.

They have been superbly lead by Faf who is leading the lap too. Some crazy scenes are going out in the middle as Shamsi and company are showing their moves with the mascot of Paarl Rocks. They aren't in a mood to end the victory lap anytime soon. On the contrary, Spartans can't be seen anywhere in the field. They have disappeared totally. Finals is all about contrasting emotions and you always feel for the losing side.
