Dwayne Bravo: It's a great feeling to play in front of the fans. Good to see them back in the stadium, good for us as players. With a victory like this, it gives us belief as a group. At the halfway stage we were the happier team. The way our bowlers pulled it back, it was encouraging. Drakes has been outstanding for us, the leader of our pack. Paul (van Meekeren) contributed with the ball too. All we needed was for Evin and Devon to stay determined, get us that good start, set up the game and we can finish in the end. I am trying to guide them (youngsters), these guys have a lot of talent. It's just about guidance, encouraging them and giving them opportunities. We can't afford to lose him (Rutherford), he told me he wanted to bat at five at the start of the tournament. The way the game progressed it gave him the opportunity with that good start to go in there and play his natural game.

Nicholas Pooran: I thought 166 was a good total, we fell short by 10-15 runs. St Kitts bowled really well at the back end. We just had to stick to our plans, we should have bowled more into the wicket, we gave some freebies to their batsmen. We didn't execute as a team today. We were a bit stubborn as a bowling group. We have some work to do. They both (Hafeez and Hetmyer) batted excellently. I am really happy the way they both batted. We can learn from them as well. Hopefully fielding gets better, can't blame the guys too much.

18:20 local: At the halfway stage, Hetmyer reckoned that his side will have to bowl well in the powerplay to restrict the Patriots but none of that happened and despite a mini collapse in the middle overs (thanks to Tahir's 2/26), the Warriors just couldn't capitalize. Fielding blips, extras (20 of them) and inconsistent bowling clubbed with a bit of luck for the batters only made matters worse for them. Once Rutherford and Bravo got together around the 11th over, the duo paced the chase to perfection and never got flustered with occasional dot balls. This is the second time in three games that the duo stitched a 50-plus stand and also the second successive win against the Warriors in the span of two days.
