Imran Tahir: First game as captain and the boys did a fantastic job. They executed all the plans we have been working on and I am very happy. Our (himself and Motie) overs are crucial in the middle, he (Motie) bowled really well and that's why we picked him. Hope he carries on, he bowled really well especially with dewy conditions and a wet ball. I am a positive guy and that is the sort of cricket I want my team to play, we have four all rounders and we can use them at any stage of the innings with bat or ball.

Evin Lewis: We were feeling positive at the halfway mark with the batters we have but it didn't come off today. We could not get a good start or finish with the bat. The crowd has always been good here and hopefully we can put up a better show next time. We have to improve each and every game. The guys have to step up and it is as simple as that.

Gudakesh Motie, Player of the Match - Hitting the right area was the key, was a very good surface. I really enjoy bowling with Tahir and have had a good experience. Thanks to the crowd for all the support.

But Lewis and Rayudu got the chase back on track with a 55-run stand. The former got off to a scratchy start but layed into Tahir, smashing him for three sixes and keeping the asking rate in check. But Motie broke the partnership and things just fell apart from thereon. The left-arm spinner went on to pick four wickets and was the standout bowler for the Warriors. Tahir too came back well after conceding 21 runs in his first over and ended up with a couple of wickets. In the end it was a comfortable victory for the Warriors and back to back defeats for the Patriots. Presentations coming up..
