The bowling unit delivered entirely. The message was simple to the batters. We knew they were 20-25 runs short. Walton got an opportunity after Guptill's absence and scored a crucial knock. Romario Shepherd: They bowled well to us in the powerplay. We were short with the bat. We could have defended 167. But Walton batted well and a few chances went down. 22:32 Local Time, 02:32 GMT, 08:02 IST: Walton had a very quiet tourney up till now. But he came to party today. There was no Narine for TKR but no worries. Their bowlers stepped up and restricted Guyana to 166. Ayub once again batted well at the top for the home side but he fell for 49. Azam played a cameo but that didn't last too long. 167 was the target and TKR started off well. Deyal and Walton took on the attack and scored in a brisk manner. Pooran came in at number 3 and slammed Tahir for a couple of sixes immediately. That set the tone and Trinbago never looked back. Pollard came in after the fall of Pooran and carried the good work forward. Walton at the other end continued to score those timely fours and sixes. Tahir tried to rotate his bowlers but in vain. The fielding from Guyana was a little sloppy as they dropped a few chances and that also didn't help their cause.
