James Vince (Player of the Match) - We weren't sure about the conditions, a few balls were moving around when we bowled, Phillipe took the pressure off me with a few early boundaries. Two more would have been nice, but great to contribute and be there till the end. 'Only he will know' (on AJ Tye's wide, if it was deliberate), but we should have been home in the previous over, but just happy to be finishing unbeaten. It will be amazing to be at the SCG, it's an amazing prospect after being on the road for so long. Great turnabout, nice to see so many traveling to support us, looking forward to Saturday (February 6th) for the final.

22:24 Local Time, 11:24 GMT, 16:54 IST: Sydney Sixers become the first team to seal a spot in the final of BBL 10. Meanwhile, the loser of this contest i.e the Scorchers will play the Challenger against the winner of the Knockout (either Brisbane Heat or Sydney Thunder). Wasn't the greatest of the games for the Scorchers as they struggled right throughout the match. Yes, they did win the toss, but the pitch wasn't that easy to bat on earlier in the day, as compared to what it was during the second half of the game. As a result of the two paced wicket, Scorchers couldn't get off to a good start as they lost both openers early. Josh Inglis played a pivotal knock as he helped the Scorchers breach the 160-run mark. But with dew setting in, such a total was never going to be enough. The Sixers openers made life further difficult for the opposition with their fantastic 92-run stand. And once Phillipe departed, Vince took the onus as he didn't let the wicket hamper the momentum. The Englishman notched up his highest score in the history of BBL as he helped the Sixers storm into the finals with three overs to spare. No doubt, he is the Man of the Match. Tye to James Vince, wide, this reminds me of that deliberate no ball by Suraj Randiv against Sehwag where the latter was denied a century. Tye has done something similar to that.
