How good was Conway in that final over. Was defending 13 runs, but gave away only seven and was even on a hat-trick. With Cutting on strike for the final over, he bowled a clever short ball that wasn't expected and hit the helmet. He made a statement with that ball and the Thunder just couldn't middle the ball. When Jason Sangha and Ross were going great guns with their 90-run stand, the Thunder were favourites with Sams, Cutting, Gilkes to follow, but they delayed the power surge, lost both their half-centurions and lost momentum. Siddle bowled a 9-run 19th over for Thunder to get 14 off the final over and Conway was a star. Dull faces in the Sydney camp. Khawaja isn't impressed with that close call for a catch that sent him back. But it's the Strikers who progress.
