If you're a Bangladesh supporter, these are unprecedented times. Winning against the Trans-Tasman boys in successive series, even if at home, is definitely a feather in the cap for the Tigers. The nature of the pitches may take some sheen off these results but that said, there isn't much the players could have done about these tracks. For now, it's party time in the Bangladesh camp and they'll be keen to finish the series on a high. Mahmudullah: I think the bowlers did a great job once again, keeping them to a low total. It was a good total to chase. Credit to all the bowlers, especially Nasum and Mustafizur. The batters tried their heart out, just needed a good partnership in the middle, me and Naim did that. Afif also got himself in. The plan was to just work in small partnerships and take it deep. Credit to the team management and the boys. The hunger was there to win the game and seal the series today. One more opportunity to win a game for Bangladesh, work on areas to improve and perform better.

Nasum Ahmed | Player of the Match: It feels great to win the series and I feel really happy. My skipper told me to back my strengths, dry the runs and that's what I did. There was turn in the pitch, so I didn't worry about variations, just stuck to the basics.

Tom Latham: We were probably a bit under-par. We were looking at around the 110 mark but ended up a bit light. Credit to how Bangladesh batted. We got early wickets but they had it under control. We spoke that if we bowled well, it could be a competitive score. They had a couple of partnerships and Mahmudullah finished it off for them. Getting it to the last over is a positive. Young played a good innings. He stuck out there and managed to get us to a competitive score but it wasn't quite enough. We are a young group, not a lot of international cricket experience and not a lot of us have been here before. Good to take the learnings forward.

19:19 Local Time, 13:19 GMT, 18:49 IST: Not too long ago, they beat Australia for the first time and now, Bangladesh have registered their maiden bilateral series win over New Zealand in the shortest format. Of course, both had second-string sides but you can only play what is in front of you. 94 was never going to be a threatening-enough target but the Black Caps did squeeze well, also aided by some poor shots from Bangladesh's top order. Skipper Mahmudullah batted all the way through and ensured that his team got across the line with five balls to spare. There was a massive moment in Ajaz's final over when the Bangladesh skipper offered a stumping chance, only for his counterpart to mess it up. How different would things have been if that was taken? We'll never know. For now, Bangladesh will celebrate and rightly so.
