Wickramasinghe, POTM: It was a hard time for our team (with the bat). Before going to bat the plan was to play 20 overs. Just executed the plan. Even with ball, I had my plans and executed it.

At 62/8, Galle Marvels seemed dead and buried but Isuru Udana smoked 72 off just 38 balls to give them some home. However, it wasn't enough as the challenge was just too big with no support at the other end. Fittingly it was Wickramasinghe who closed the game out in the final over as he picked up the remaining two wickets with 27 runs to defend. He had earlier propelled Dambulla to a total of 160 by smashing 38 off the final two overs, finishing on 56 off 34 balls.
