Toss does matter in shortened games. I will have to discuss with the coach but if we have to see a few different faces in the next game I am happy with it.

Wonder why they didn't use more frontline bowling options and earlier to rotate the bowling. But 79 is mostly going to be an easy target in a 7-over game. They needed at least 100 to challenge this good batting line-up. Mathews and Shanaka bowled two good overs up front but Jaffna pounced on lack of bowling change and lined up both bowlers to steal 35 runs off their 2 overs. Asalanka was a six-hitting machine and he changed the momentum completely. Hasaranga got two in an over but even he went for 18 runs and they only needed 13 off last 2 overs. Kandy have now put themselves in a lot of trouble for qualification to next round with only one game remaining and four points in the bag.
