Asalanka, Jaffna captain: It's amazing feeling. First time captaining in LPL and to lift trophy is amazing feeling. It's all about professional individual performance. They looked after themselves. I'm speechless with their batting. First wicket went first ball and Rilee and Kusal were outstanding. Want to thank my fans.

Dickwella, Galle captain: It was a great campaign throughout this 21 days. Proud of the boys. I didn't mind batting first. But we didn't read the wicket well. Credit to Bhanuka. With the ball it was a disaster. In the 45-minute break, there was dew as well. Wicket settled down for the batters. We had a great time. Want to thank teammates, coaching staff, owners, IPG group, SLC. It was a great tournament.

Rossouw: Just played one ball at a time. Credit also to Kusal for a superb knock. He came through for us in the Qualifier and tonight. People that know me don't abuse me. It's part of the game (talking about his exchange with Rajapaksa). Just puts me more in the zone. Thankfully it came off today. Winning the tournament is what we came here to do.

Tim Seifert receives the pink cap for finishing as the highest run-scorer of the season. The red cap goes to Shadab Khan for being the highest wicket-taker. Chamindu Wickramasinghe is named Emerging player of the season. Finally, Rilee Rossouw gets the Player of the tournament award to go with his Player of the Match award.

Tabraiz Shamsi: (On Rossouw) It's not the first time he's done something like that. We call him 'The Rocket' back home. That's exactly what he's done. He's capable of special innings like that. Our batting unit has been firing all through the tournament. 180 - a lot more than what we should have been chasing but we were quite confident. (On Rossouw's celebration) He loves his celebrations and loves big moments. Once again, he's proven it out there.

Jason Behrendorff: That's what I have been trying to do, hasn't quite worked in some of the other games. It was nice to get it right tonight, get us off to a really good start. Goodness me, how good was that hitting at the back end there. Shamsi didn't want to play (chuckles). Shamsi and I have been sharing our spots depending on conditions. Worked in our favour tonight, bowling first, little bit of swing around as well, we played the conditions quite nicely in the end. (Experience) It's unbelievable, my first time in Sri Lanka, I am loving the culture and the experience. To play in front of 27,000 people tonight, to get a win for Jaffna Kings. Very successful franchise, really happy to be a part of it. Hopefully, we get another chance next year.

Fabian Allen: It was a fantastic win. Credit to the batting group, they did a phenomenal job. I am happy, grateful and speechless right now. It was a remarkable partnership (between Rossouw and Mendis). I am a bowling all-rounder at the moment. Whatever the team asks me to do, I step up and put my hand up. We back our strengths and back ourselves, that's what we do. We go out there and back each other. To come out on top, I am so happy.

23:13 Local Time, 17:43 GMT, 23:13 IST: Jaffna players come running out from the dugout as the fireworks go off in the night sky. Fourth time they have won the title in just five seasons of LPL. Quite remarkable. And they did it in some style as well tonight. Chasing a target of 185, Mendis and Rossouw put on a sensational show as they blazed away to victory in just 15.4 overs. Rossouw smashed his second hundred of the tournament while Mendis followed his century in the Qualifier with a blistering 72 not out. There had been another brilliant knock earlier in the evening from Rajapaksa who came out and completely turned the innings around for Galle Marvels. They were struggling on 86/4 after 12 overs, but Rajapaksa smashed 82 off just 34 balls to give them a total to bowl at. However, it wasn't to be for Galle as they went down in the final yet again. They've been in three finals, and have lost all three of them to Jaffna.
