Steve Smith | WF captain: It was good, we have been looking for the complete performance, pretty close to it. We bowled and fielded well and then it was a dominant chase at the end. Just gut feel and when the left-hander came in, initially Maxi was not supposed to bowl and then he came in and bowled really well. Thought it was a 160 wicket, 129 and we went in and were positive with the bat. Got a little partnership there, Travs takes the?game on and he played beautifully, allows the other batter to take his time and not think about other things.

Sunil Narine | LAKR captain: You could say that, it doesn't matter if we win the toss or not, bat or bowl first, we did not put a good score on the board. If we don't strike in the powerplay, it's always going to be an easy chase. Got to trust the skills of the players, there's a reason why they are here, they are still talking and motivated, hopefully they get it right in the next game. If you get early wickets here, the batting lineup is not deep, always?looking forward?to taking early wickets.

Glenn Maxwell | Player of the Match: Was certainly pretty fortunate with the conditions and with Saurabh taking consistent wickets at the top. It's been amazing how we controlled the bowling innings by taking consistent wickets. Slightly different conditions to the IPL, felt I was able to put the ball on a T in the IPL. Was a good day and nice to go a bit clear at the top as well. I'm absolutely loving not having a bat, nice to give the body a bit of a break. Smudge is doing a great job as a leader and he is doing well at the top with the bat.

Travis Head: Was [pitch] on the slower side, took more spin than previous games. Nice?to get a few away and nice to get a win. Nice to play the full fixture. Nice to get some luck and get away, it was nice to get a few away off the middle. [on the crowd] Good to feed off it, good to maximise when me and Smithy were going. 18:43 Local Time, 22:43 GMT, 04:13 IST: That was a stroll of a chase in the end. Freedom remain unbeaten this season and cement their top spot on the points table. The chase was headlined by Head who took off, helped by a controversial decision by umpire Wayne Knights who gave him not out for a catch in the first over. Head was aggressive and set his side on their way. Smith did the anchor as he always does and despite the Freedom taking it easy after Head went, the result was never a doubt. Had they wanted they could have ended it early as the target was meagre. LA Knight Riders did not have enough on the board to create any sort of impact. Stay tuned for the presentation...
