Short of length at the hip, it's almost as if Holder's lack of pace works to his benefit. Mendis wants to whip this away, but is through the shot too early. Skies it up off a leading edge. The ball has eventually ended up deeper than where a normal backward square leg would be, so this is an excellent catch from Shane Dowrich who covers a whole lot of ground to get there.
