Banged it short, tucking up Carey on the pull stroke and he could only get a top edge towards deep backward square leg. For a change, a catch is taken by the Hurricanes. Boland to Short, no run, dropped! Oh dear! Simplest of chances at mid-off and Rogers has spilled it. Pressure telling on the Hurricanes already and maybe this was the result of that. Can't afford such slipups though, not in knockout games. Boland had induced the mishit, forcing Short to miscue the loft that went straight up. Should have been swallowed but Rogers couldn't hold on. How costly is this going to be?
