"Today was the reflection of the entire series," Bangladesh skiper Shakib Al Hasan mentioned. That just about sums up the sorry state of affairs for the tourists. After allowing the hosts to pile up 224, they were never really in the contest and following regular wickets, the tourists always looked like being bowled out inside 20 overs of play, and so it was. More than a special bowling show, it was the pressure that went against Bangladesh as they threw their bats at almost everything, without any rewards. Eventually, South Africa ensured that Bangladesh remained win-less on the tour.

A lopsided finish to a series that was no different, however, one would rejoice the special efforts of Miller who entertained all and sundry with his spectacular batting. Hope you enjoyed that. It's been an eventful day at the office. Not a bad idea to look back at Miller's feat and what records he broke in the process. Here's Deepu'sstatistical analysis

Soumya Sarkar wages a lone battle?

Three fours in a single over and Soumya Sarkar isn't going down without a fight. Some good timing in that Dwaine Pretorius over. Fails to inflict the same treatment on Phangiso though. Not the first attempt at a slog sweep there but he doesn't quite get hold of it. Hits it straight down the throat of Hendricks at deep mid-wicket and that is the end of Sarkar. So even he departs. Not much fight coming through from the tourists!

Rahim gift-wraps his wicket away

Mushfiqur pre-meditates but not so well, after all. Exposes all three stumps and looks to play the Marilier scoop, manages a faint contact as the ball goes comfortably into the hands of the 'keeper. Third down now, B'desh have ensured themselves a win-less tour, almost!

Sabbir, too, departs. Skips down and Duminy is quick to drag the line away from the right-hander. He reaches out and manages to just toe-end it to mid off, simple catch and B'desh are four down now. Little hope that they would last the entire lot of overs.

Not the beginning B'desh wanted

Although, 17 in the opening over of the chase sounds just about perfect, wickets in back to back overs clearly doesn't. Poor cricket as Soumya Sarkar cracks it to ABD at point and sets off on a suicidal mission, it's his partner - Kayes, who suffers. Well short of his ground and B'desh lose their first.

Shakib has been totally foxed by a slowish offbreak from Duminy. The all-rounder made room and looked to cut, missed it completely and the stumps were rattled. Two wickets in no time and B'desh are pegged back even before they got started.

Catch a breath

This was an exhillarating spell of batting. AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla sent the ball screaming in the first half to set the tone for the Proteas. Amla continued well beyond his 8th T20I fifty but it was set to be a Miller show today. Poor Saifuddin got hit for 5 sixes, could have been six sixes in an over. However, while he missed that record, he didn't miss the bigger one - the fastest T20I hundred. He got there quite comfortably in the end and with 35 balls taken for his feat, he sits comfortably ahead of the next best - 45 balls by Richard Levi.

Miller goes bonkers

David Miller is out there to make Bangladesh pay for their mistake. Mushfiq dropped him and ever since, he has not looked back one bit. 23 balls for his fifty. Three sixes, four fours, there's plenty more to come, I can assure. He's timed the ball like a dream this afternoon. This is already beyond Bangladesh!

Five sixes in a row now against Saifuddin. He hangs his head back after missing out on that widish half-volley, rather a yorker. But 31 runs is insane! He can get to the fastest T20I hundred here, hold your breath! Richard Levi got to it off 45 balls, Miller will get there easily if he stays in there.

Finally, Amla departs

A rare miscue from Amla as he looks to slog one over mid-wicket, a top edge lands safely in the hands of the fielder in the deep. End of a meaty knock and not before he has done ample damage!

No sighters for Miller, no relief for Mehidy

After being put down by Mushfiqur down the leg side, Miller has teed off in some fashion. Mehidy has bore the brunt as Miller gives a waltz down the track and smacks it for four. Amla takes over to crunch two fours of his own.

And now, Rubel's turn to watch the ball fly in different directions. Miller, first, makes room outside leg and the bowler follows him, but who cares? Heaved across the line for four. Next ball was just walloped over the bowler's head. This is outrageous hitting, really. The moment that ball left the bat, all at the ground knew that it was going out of bounds. And a flat six now. 23 off Rubel's over!

That's Bangladesh's true test for now

ABD goes, huge relief for B'desh

This was properly tonked by ABD but unfortunately, he finds the fielder with utmost precision as well. Superb catch as well, one must say. Big wicket and that's the end of an impactful partnership. 41 quick runs added to the tally.

Btw, fifty for Amla. As always, quietly operating away with quick runs from one end and while Bangladesh were covering their bases for ABD, Amla has raised his fifty. Top knock!

Mehidy looking for hiding?

That's some top-class batting from Amla and de Villiers, must admit not the best of bowling though. Amla hammers one over his head for the first four of the over before de Villiers makes a mockery of the young man's off-breaks. Doesn't get to the pitch yet launches one over long on for a towering six. Next ball is a full toss and he wouldn't let that go.

Shakib strikes again

Poor shot from Duminy as he premeditated that sweep, too full and fast for that shot to be played and he missed it. Stumps shattered for the second time in the game already. Shakib is pumped up and so are Bangladesh. However, Amla is off to a flying start from the opposite end.

First Blood for Bangladesh

Mosehle clearly hasn't seen enough of quality left-arm orthodox bowling. Shakib takes the pace off the ball and Mosehle goes searching for it outside off. Next ball cramps him for room as he looks to work it away at the last moment. Mosehle misses and the ball brushes the pad before going onto the stumps. First wicket down!

Getting started

Amla in ominous touch already, two fine flick shots to fetch a couple of boundaries inside the first two overs. Btw, this is South Africa's 100th T20I. And as I finish typing this, Amla rocks back and hammers a short ball over deep square leg for a massive six. Up and running already!

There's too much cricket happening right now. While India and New Zealand are tussling it out in the series decider in Kanpur, Zimbabwe and Windies are contesting in the second Test. The third T20I between Pakistan and Sri Lanka would be underway soon. Plenty of action and options on offer, follow whichever you want to, the destination remains the same though..

Just like Facebook asks us every time we open our profile page, "What's on your mind?" One would do well to pose the same question to Bangladesh - if they are more desperate to win one game or have the tired minds already boarded the flight back home?

It's been difficult for Bangladesh and even 'difficult' is an understatement. Last game aside, Bangladesh's margin of defeats have been humiliating. And for that reason alone, the tourists would feel they can cross the line, at least once, at a venue where they suffered their first loss on the tour - 333-run loss in the opening Test.
