Harmanpreet Kaur: Indian skipper: Really happy to see the way she (Renuka) is bowling. These kind of games always show how mentally strong you are. Deepti and Jemimah handled the situation really well and Richa finished it off well. Staying together and working hard has always given us positive results. Happy with how everyone stood for the team. Our fielding coach is always asking for 100 percent success rate, but today we dropped one chance and hopefully we will set things right next year.

Renuka Singh | Player of the Series: There was swing on offer and I tried to take advantage of the conditions. One of my team-mates and I had a bet that if you pick these many wickets, you would get this and that. Really happy to see the rewards for all my hard work. In Australia, we didn't do well and when I came back to India, the plan was how I can improve and take wickets during my second spell and I worked a lot with Jhulan (Goswami) and it really helped me a lot.

Deepti Sharma | Player of the Match: I was just waiting for my turn to contribute with the ball. The plan was to give breakthroughs no matter which stage of the innings I am bowling. I always try to read the batter and be ready to adjust my plans accordingly. The plan was to get her out as early (Henry) as possible, really happy because it was a crucuial wicket.

Hayley Matthews | West Indies skipper: We were a few runs short, but really good to see the fight in the second half. The wicket was quite tricky in both innings, we probably didn't do well with the bat as well as we would have liked. Seeing players like Henry stand up the way she did today and we got an opportunity to see and test the depth of our squad which was really nice. Always happy to see personal milestones (talking about Henry's fifty).

Pratika Rawal: It was a great feeling, it was my first series and I am really happy. I got out to a loose shot today, I wanted to play over mid-on, next time I will try to play more cautiously and I would like to finish more games for India. It was swinging a lot and I was able to negate it using my strengths and it was okay (talking about the surface). I want to finish more games, improve my fielding and bowling as well.

Jemimah Rodrigues: Today's game was a challenging one because of the conditions, Renuka was superb with the ball and everyone complemented each other. We are glad that we have come out on the winning side. There was a bit of tennis ball bounce (talking about the conditions) and when the ball holds a little it was challenging. One thing I changed today (talking about her approach to the batting) was, I tried to play Hayley cautiously and I knew I could get runs from the other end. Tried to play the ball late. This cleansweep means a lot to the team, we have been having lots of ups and downs and we are gonna take a lot of positives from this series. The bowlers promised to take all 10 wickets in three games, and they are working a lot in the nets and the execution has been spot on. I firmly believe that the bowlers win you matches.

14:56 local, 09:26 GMT: All smiles in the Indian camp as they end 2024 with a series sweep against the West Indies. A target of 163 didn't seem challenging at the half-way mark, but the early departure of Smriti and Harleen may have given more than a glimmer of hope for the visitors. And when they managed to remove Pratika and Harmanpreet in the space of 20 balls, that hope certainly gathered a fair bit of momentum. A 59-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Jemimah and Deepti, however, put paid to all hopes of a comeback. Both batters rotated the strike well and used the sweep to good effect to negate the spin threat. All in all, it was a win that was set up by the bowlers and backed up by a decent batting show on a wicket that had a bit of spice in it.
