Holder: A lot went their way, the edges and stuff. So a good effort by our boys. Our boys have fought hard for us. Tough wicket to bat on, but we were still 20-25 runs short. He showed exceptional character, did Guptill, and it was a top knock. I think the squad just needs to click, perhaps put a bit more time up front so that we can explode at the latter half of the innings. I'd ask the crowd to stay behind us, and we will be back on Friday night to put another good effort. Some good cricket has been played all around.

Andre Russell: The way the wicket was playing, bowling first gave us an idea of how the pitch was behaving. When the ball was wet, it was sliding on. You can't get settled on a wicket like this, and Charles was amazing. He knew once the ball gets wet, it would get easier to bat, and we kept our lengths tight. I realized spin isn't a good option when the ball was wet, so we went with the seamers. I think Jason (Holder) has a good squad and I wish them all the best. It can be tough to lose three on the trot, but hopefully they can finish on a winning note at their homeground next game.

Johnson Charles, MoM: I think on a pitch like that there is extra bounce, and I had a clear mind (to hit out). It was coming on a bit, and there was extra bounce. With a 7'1" guy, it is difficult, but with the extra bounce, it won't hit the wickets, so I just kept a clear mind and tried to hit everything. I'm just going to make up in the three games, and I'm still in contention for the highest run-getter in the tournament (laughs).
