Meg Lanning - Very happy, it was a crunch game and I thought we handled it pretty calmly. Beth Mooney calmed our nerves early, batted beautifully and set us up with a solid base. That helped us have wickets in the end and it proved to be vital. She is a very good player from a long time and we value her very highly, we know how good she has been for us. The batting in the last few overs was also a big positive, we could go hard with wickets in hand and two world class performers meant we could go very hard at them. Coming into the game, she was under some pressure and to bowl like that shows how good she can be (about Wareham). It will give her plenty of confidence going into the finals. Unfortunately, we have had a few injuries, I haven't heard about her (Perry's injury), but she didn't look all that great, but she's a tough player, hopefully, she will be alright. Her injury took some pace off our bowling, but I thought Gardener did well in the last over under pressure. Need to manage players well and ensure that they peak at the right time. We are gaining in confidence with every win and are looking forward to the semis, the Bangladesh game was a real turning point, we played the way we can play. We have done the basics well, be calm, that's the key and that's what we have done in the last three games. That gives us a lot of confidence heading to the semi-final.

Sophie Devine - It was a sort of game where we can look back at the 120 balls in each innings and try and find out where we went wrong. We perhaps let them get away a bit towards the end, 5-10 runs too much towards the end and that made the difference. We needed to execute our plans, set the fields accordingly, but on hindsight cricket is a pretty easy game. I thought they had wickets in the hand and so wanted to keep Kerr to the end, she (Kerr) is a kind of bowling who can bowl at any time, perhaps we could have bowled her early as well. Proud at the way we played (with the bat), we saw it in the India game as well - the longer we stay out, we can take it deeper and then we never know. Think was a bit tough on Katey, could have been close to a no-ball, but credit to Australia, they are a great team and wish them the best moving forward. Can't complain about the group, yes, it was tough, but we knew it long ago, you'd have to play the best teams at some stage and we got the best teams in our pool. We need to play more games as a team, came here on a pretty lean run when it came to playing as a group. Enjoyed our time in this tournament, an opportunity to play in Australia, found some new talents and we will go back home and prepare for the next big World Cup at home.

Georgia Wareham, Player of the Match - I had a bit of confidence and thankfully everything went well. They are dangerous batters and I'm happy that things went according to plan. (The plan) was to draw them forward and it came off well. This is a fast track compared to other grounds, but not too different. It's special to be playing at the SCG and looking forward to the semi-final.

On hindsight, New Zealand's decision to bowl first in a must-win game has backfired. They backed themselves to chase, but 156 was always going to be a tough ask. They needed a good start and once again - Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates, flattered to deceive. That left the likes of Green and Martin with too much to do. Both threw their bats around, got their team close, but it didn't result in a win. Georgia Wareham spun a web with her leggies and her spell turned out to be match-winning. The hosts will now await Group B toppers for the semi-final game at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
