22:04 Local Time, 14:04 GMT, 19:34 IST: A dominating performance from the Scorchers. Thrashing would be an understatement from Sydney Thunder's point of view. The visitors' batsmen, barring Hales, struggled to time the ball and they crawled their way to post 153 on the board. What followed that was totally opposite! In walked the Scorchers' openers and they came out all guns blazing. The exciting Josh Inglis was at his swashbuckling best hitting boundaries everywhere. Livingstone didn't want to play second fiddle and it was fireworks from both ends and the hosts wiped off close to 50% of the target in the powerplay. They kept going after the bowlers and once they scored 113 off ten overs, it was always going to be one-way traffic. Doggett dropped three catches and eventually took one to dismisss Inglis, but it was too little, too late. Livingstone perished for 78 looking to finish off in style, but he had done more than enough to win the Man of the Match award.
