Baba Aparajith: It's disappointing, but I feel we played really well in the tournament. We got back really well after the first game, we beat some good teams as well. NRR was the reason we didn't go through, we wanted to win this game and through as well but it didn't happen. We had that (increasing the NRR in the previous matches) in our mind, but the first aim was to win. It's a red soil wicket, wasn't easy to get 120-140. We tried and had that in our mind. The fast bowlers tried their best, maybe we could have done better. A couple of better fielding efforts too could have helped us but these things do happen in T20 cricket.
