We have played some great cricket throughout the year, only to fall away towards the end, but credit to the guys for the partnership. The aim was to take early wickets, put them under pressure, but credit to Campher and Dockrell for that flawless partnership, they took the game away from us. We have learnt from last year, we found ourselves in a similar situation there as well. We will take a day off tomorrow and refocus on the next game

Curtis Campher | Player of the Match - Had a clear game plan. It was my day today. We got some momentum around the 9th or 10th over and then decided to take it forward. We are pretty much alive in the tournament. The hardwork for the last one year has paid off.

At 61 for 4 in the 10th over, the chase looked dead and buried, Scotland were cock-a-hoop, it looked like a mere certainty at that point, but then Campher came in with renewed vigour. Scotland panicked, errors started flowing into their game and the Irish closed down the chase with an over to spare, with Campher and Dockrell registering an unbeaten 119-run stand. It didn't look like it'd happen when they lost the top-order cheaply. Balbirnie and Stirling fell inside the first 5 overs, and so did Tucker and Tector before the half-way mark. Scotland thought they were home and dry, until Campher and Dockrell happened.
