Tamim Iqbal | Bangladesh captain and Player of the Series: We have been a very good side at home, we have now won back-to-back away from home. Very proud of the team. The bowlers utilized the conditions really well. We are missing three players from the top-five, it was a great opportunity for these guys. Nurul batted really well and that's great for Bangladesh cricket. Taijul didn't get a a game throughout the series and when he got a game, he stepped up.

Nicholas Pooran | West Indies captain: We spoke about digging deep, conditions were difficult, it was all about assessing the pitch. I always make runs here, but I felt like I missed out on a few there. Batsmen have tried, but it's all about finding a way. I can't judge my batsmen. We'll have to learn from this and get better. It's been frustrating for the batting unit.

As was the case in the first two ODIs, Bangladesh once again opted to field and restricted their opponents down to a below-par score. Captain Pooran top-scored with 73 - first half-centurion for WI this series - but found little support from the other batters. Taijul Islam was the star with the ball for the visitors as the left-arm spinner scalped his maiden ODI fifer. Chasing 179, Bangladesh lost Shanto early but Tamim and Litton Das stitched a 50-run partnership for the second wicket. Gudakesh Motie bowled an impressive spell, recorded his career-best figures of 4/23 as Bangladesh slipped to 116/5. The asking rate was never an issue for the tourists. Mahmudullah and Nurul Hasan added 31 runs for the sixth wicket before the former was stumped off a wide ball from Pooran. Post that, Nurul and Mehidy batted sensibly to take Bangladesh home.
