Mayank | Blasters captain: I thought our bowlers did exceedingly well to defend that score. We were off to a good start but we didn't bat well in the middle. They bowled really well. Credit to them. Could have been more smarter during that period with the bat. We knew it was just about par or 5 runs short of par. Needed to start well with the ball and that's what we did. Fast bowlers responded with the new ball and once we got early wickets, we were able to dominate the game. It was a fantastic catch (of Kranti to get Karun), because we all know how good he is. Intensity shouldn't drop from us, need to be humble and stick to the process. We don't want to be complacent.

Suchith | Player of the Match: It was due for a long time. I think I let my team down a few times with the bat earlier. Being a senior member of the side, it was important for me to step up. I was hitting the ball really well, enjoying myself out there. Had put a lot of hard work in my preparation, so it was long due as I said.
