Bismah Maroof | Pakistan skipper: Very clinical performance in every department. The way Muneeba batted, she backed herself and showed what she can do and I hope she continues to perform like that. I told her to spend some time in the middle, bat deep and the other batters will play along with her. The fast bowling department we can still do better, hopefully in the next game. We have taken positives from the last game and improved our game today. We will cut the cake (to celebrate Muneeba's milestone) when we go back to the hotel.

Laura Delany | Ireland skipper: We underperformed today, we gave them too much and then we tried to drag it back and take wickets and we started off well with the bat which is one thing we have been trying to focus on, but overall we are slightly disappointed with how it went today. It's such a nice group to captain, we are learning and trying to get better with each game. We want to sit down and identify areas we want to focus on in the next game. She (Muneeba) is brilliant and she outplayed us.

Muneeba Ali | Player of the Match: When I got the start and had partnership with Nida, she kept telling me to keep going and around 12 or 13th over I realized that I can actually get to a 100. I was playing with the field and trying to understand what they wanna bowl and making a plan about where I can get a boundary. They (teammates) are all happy and I am also very happy for this innings. I want to dedicate the award to my captain and my team-mates. We had a bad game yesterday, we fought well and everyone is happy today, so I want to dedicate this to them.

Earlier, Muneeba Ali became the first Pakistani batter to claim a T20I hundred and the bowlers backed it up brilliantly to claim a resounding win against Ireland. Courtesy this victory, Pakistan are now third on the points table and have a NRR boost of 1.54 which is next best after table-toppers, England. Ireland, however, remain winless in T20 World Cups. They got off to a decent start and at one stage Prendergast took on Fatima Sana and slammed 14 runs off the 4th over. A wicket-maiden from Nida Dar turned things around and Ireland kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
