Nedd was extremely good, back him to come good in the powerplay and he did well. Fletcher was struggling towards the end but he carried on, very happy for him. Feeling very happy, we’d been trying a lot of things to get the victory and we got it. I’ve been doing everything, hopefully I’ll get a score.

Sikandar Raza | SKNP Captain: I dont’ think ti was too bad a total, we were probably 10 runs short. We got off to a bad start. The first 10 overs belonged to them. I thought Fletcher was very professional and very mature. Pierre has done really well, he didn’t start because of the combinations we wanted. Gives me immense pleasure to see him bowl well. Wind plays a huge factor here, I thought we’d back Chase to win it for us in the final over if Fletcher got out.

Sherfane Rutherford (speaking on behalf of Andre Fletcher, Player of the Match): It was a special knock, given we’re only a team with just a few batters in form. He did very well and got us our first win. It’s a hamstring injury, not sure how long he’ll be out, hopefully he can play the next game.

13:33 Local Time, 17:33 GMT, 23:03 IST: What a finish that was in the end! Andre Fletcher just about gets his team over the line with a heroic and valiant knock! They bowled quite well to begin with and restricted the Kings' explosive batting order to just 149. They didn't get off to the best of starts with the chase though as they lost Lewis, Smeed and Goolie early. Fletcher kept the runs flowing but wickets kept falling at the other end. Rutherford stabilized things for a bit but he too fell looking to attack. It was pretty much a one-man show from Fletcher, there were minor contributions from Linde and Bosch towards the end but they weren't substantial. Pulling up sore with what looked like a dodgy hamstring in the 17th over, Fletcher battled through the pain and didn't go off the field. It looked like they'd cruise to a win after 10 runs came from the 18th over but the 19th bowled by Alzarri Joseph went for just one. That left them with 9 to get in the final over and Bosch fell. Fletcher, though, held his nerve and cleared the ropes with just one ball to spare. Stick around for the presentations.
