There were games to be won but we didn’t pull it by the scruf of the neck. (On his experience of MLC) It has been good, first time playing here in these conditions. Wayne Parnell: Obviously class there from Rilee Rossouw, he showed his experience. It's a game of inches and unfrotunately we are on the wrong side today. But winning or losing, you always learn from those experiences. There's always room for improvement and we will have the same chat today.

Rilee Rossouw | Player of the Match: It is a different feeling, stayed out there and it's good to finish the match. When we've been bad, we've been really bad. I thought we put in a complete performance today and luckily for me it came off. The previous game, the wicket was playing up and down and a bit slow. It's not something we're used to playing around the world but we had to adapt.

Adam Zampa: We certainly haven't played our best cricket in this tournament. If we had lost this as well, it would have been a sad feeling, so to finish on a high is a bonus. It's been a mixed bag for me, I bowled ok. It's ok to be in the wickets but we want to team to be on the winning side. Rilee is an experienced campaigner. It's (playing MLC) been great. To get the opportunity and be involved in it is great.

It wasn't rosy for them though when they began the chase. It seemed like their batting will come to haunt them again when they lost 4 wickets within the powerplay. They finished the powerplay on 26/4 and it seemed liked the game was running away from them. But, Rossouw and Russell joined forces and took the attack to the opposition. They kept finding the boundaries regularly and stitched a 77-run stand in 43 balls to get some much-needed momentum. Harmeet Singh was attacked by Dre Russ but he kept his cool and forced him to play a false stroke to get the better of him. However, Rossouw was on a mission and kept going strong. He lost a few partners from the other end though. 32 came off the 18th and 19th over combined and that killed the game. He finished with a maximum to give a consolation victory to his side.
