Chasing a tricky target, Galle got off to a breezy start scoring 37/0 in 4 overs with Litton being the aggressor. Earlier, Kandy were in a spot of bother at 20/3 inside the powerplay. An almost one-legged Hasaranga top-scored with a 30-ball 48 to take his team's total above 150. Despite the hamstring injury, the Kandy captain came out to bowl and finished with figures of 2/21. Chaturanga and Hasnain were impressive too with the ball as Kandy defended their total quite easily.
