Kagiso Rabada, Player of the Match: Just got the line wrong, every run at that stage (when I was bowling) was crucial. Unfortunately it didn't go our way. No one is blaming anyone, but we played patchy cricket. We couldn't put up consistent performances, will look to do it next year. At the moment I think DSG is the stronger side. It's amazing to play here. Love playing at home, people like to tour South Africa and play here. The local players are learning a lot, hopefully this competition goes to greater heights.

Wayne Parnell: Great performance from us. Really impressive from the bowling group and also the batters towards the end. I had 175 in my mind as a figure to keep them under. 180-190 would have been a winning score, to restrict them (to 163) was a good effort from our bowlers. They have a quality bowling line-up too and that put us under pressure. He (Muthusamy) just keeps finding ways to win us the game. He is a classy player, who can hurt you in different ways. I'll keep an eye on the TV for the next game.

Kieron Pollard: Very well played to the Pretoria Capitals, thanks to the fans for supporting us. Need to give attention to details. You try different things, sometimes it works. They started with spin, our pacers got wickets. We can analyse a lot of different things. Were looking around 180, we were 15-20 runs short. I can't pinpoint right now, as a management we have to go back and discuss about a lot of different things. We are going to come back harder next year. Hopefully next year is a better year for us, would want to apologise to our fans.

The Capitals openers couldn't make significant contributions, but Kyle Verreynne chipped in with a handy cameo to keep the chase alive. Rossouw and Ackermann couldn't do much either, however, Theunis de Bruyn played a good hand of 42, until Thushara dismissed him in the 18th over. Senuran Muthusamy hit some breathtaking shots in his enterprising knock and turned the tables. Those two sixes against Curran sealed the deal as the Capitals got over the line in the final over. MI Cape Town controlled most of the innings, however, Capitals came out on top in the deciding moments of the game. A win for Joburg Super Kings in the next game guarantees them a play-off place, however, Capitals hold that spot for now. Stay tuned for the presentations..
