Four hundreds in an innings, a score close to 600, followed by two five-fers - all from the home side. Little surprise there that Bangladesh ended up on the losing side. There were no demons in the pitch, it was all down to application. Bangladesh batsmen showed none of it, in either of their innings - all after having seen four of their counterparts notch up hundreds for themselves with ease. Tells you a lot about the difference in the two bowling attacks as well. South Africa, after thoroughly dictating the terms throughout the series, take the trophy. SERIES SWEEP:And there we go. Innings and 254-run victory for South Africa. This series has been a story of sheer dominance form the home side, especially this game - wrapped up in two and a half days.

CENTURY FOR RABADA: 100th Test wicket for Rabada - he's the fourth fastest to get to the milestone.He's getting a hug from each of his team mates. Credit to Dean Elgar for a superb diving catch too. Short and wide outside off, Mahmudullah thought he;d guide that one to the third man fence but Elgar throws himself to the left and takes a stunner in gully. WICKET: Phehlukwayo gets the inswinger spot on!Error in judgement from the batsman and the off stump takes a walk. Liton Das had left quite a few outside the off stump, but this one just came back in a tad and tricked him. Das left it alone but it uproots his off pole. WICKET:Rahim eventually falls to an LBW, that Bangladesh review but to no avail and that'll be early lunch. Parnell opens his account at the stroke of Lunch.Credit to the bowler for deceiving the batsman with the change of line. Mushfiqur left the previous three good-length deliveries and this time does that again but the ball clips him on the pads just in front of the off-stump. KAYES DEPARTS:Strangled down the leg side and there goes another Bangladesh batsman. Not the first time in this Test match. Kayes gets a short ball climbing on to him and he's cramped. Tried to tuck it off his hips but instead edges it to the keeper who takes a smart diving catch to his right. Olivier gets his reward for that extended opening spell. Three down for less than 70 runs on the board while following-on. Doesn't look very good for Bangladesh here. Here comes Mamudullah.
MAN DOWN: Mushfiqur is down on the floor after being hit flush on the side of the helmet by a short delivery from Olivier.He was trying to duck.. this is nasty!The whole of the South African team and the umpires converge. RABADA AT IT AGAIN:Mominul Haque had been taking on the short-ball challenge from Rabada quite decently but this time, South Africa played it smart. Faf had a man stationed at deep square leg to take that catch. Hosts, and Rabada, have a second wicket in the bag. Out comes Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim.
BREAKTHROUGH:And it doesn't take long for the hosts for the breakthrough. Rabada the man again, Soumya Sarkar is on his way backafter giving a simple catch to Faf du Plessis in slips. Good length ball, outside off and Sarkar could have left it alone but he doesn't. Pokes at it and Faf dives in front of the first-slip fielder to pouch the catch. Mominul Haque is the new batsman.

Build-up: A story of sheer dominance
Four centuries and a five-wicket haul, all belonging to the home team - that has been the story so far of the second Test between South Africa and Bangladesh at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. Sheer dominance by South Africa has put them on the brink of an innings victory and a 2-0 clean-sweep of the Test series.
Bangladesh's performance in this game so far befits one of a club team. It would certainly hurt a Bangladesh fan to see such comparisons, but truth does hurt sometimes.
After allowing South Africa to score 573 for 4 declared, Bangladesh were bowled out for 147 with Kagiso Rabada picking up a fifer. Asked to follow on, they closed the day on 7 without loss in their second innings, still trailing by 419 runs. Going by the current state of affairs, South Africa might not take too long to put Bangladesh out of their misery.
Liton Das, who scored a fighting 70 and was the only saving grace for Bangladesh in their first innings, said Bangladesh weren't used to playing in such conditions, although he added that that wouldn't serve as an excuse for their below-par performance. Can they come up with a better fight in the second innings?
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh series he been a good opportunity for Rabada to play alongside the guys who he played with or against during his school days. "South Africa is in good hands in the future, and getting them involved now, they've been exposed to international cricket. It gets much tougher than Bangladesh, of course. You can play them in their conditions and it's a different story. It gets harder from here. This is not it," he said.
