Misbah-ul-Haq doesn't waste any time as he sends Devendra Bishoo out of the park twice in three balls to finish off the formalities. Pakistan win by seven wickets and take a one-nil lead in the three-match series. The script on paper may not show everything, but Pakistan were well and truely ahead in the contest right from the second over of the match. A clinical win for the tourists.

Pakistan's attacking line of bowling worked pretty well as they took less than two hours to bowl out West Indies on Day 5. They did leak some runs, but they wouldn't mind. With 32 runs needed, the match should get over in this session itself. This has been quite an impressive performance by the visitors. Yasir Shah, who bagged the last wicket of the innings, finished with six in the second innings

They are falling like nine pins. Everyone is getting wickets. After Aamir and Abbas in the first hour, it is time for Wahab Riaz to strike. The fast left-armer dismisses Jason Holder and in little time Yasir Shah to bags his first wicket of the day and fifth of the innings. West Indies are nine down with a lead of just over 30. This should wrap up within the first session.
Double blow
Mohammad Abbas strikes for the second time in three balls to cut short Shane Dowrich's stay at the crease. The wicketkeeper-batsman is trapped legbefore and West Indies are in all sorts of trouble.
Strike 6
The fine vigil by Devendra Bishoo has come to an end as Mohammad Abbas induces an edge, which flies to Younis Khan at slips. This is third catch by the veteran. The hosts are tottering despite taking the lead.
In the lead
West Indies have finally managed to clear off the first innings deficit and take lead in the match. They have lost their top five batsmen in the process, but would breathe a bit easy now. Nightwatchman Devendra Bishoo is playing a fine hand.
Amir breaks the monotony
No 5 is down and all the top order batsmen are back in the pavilion. However, it is Mohammad Amir who gets the breakthrough for Pakistan. More than six and a half hours of play remain in the day. West Indies will have to bat out of theskins to save this Test. They have done it in their previous series against India. Can they do it again?
Steady start
A swing bowler and a legspinner - the classic Pakistani combo is in operation to begin the final day. Yasir Shah and Mohammad Amir have been on the money, but West Indies have managed to get off to a steady start. Positive approach by the hosts.

Hello and welcome to the final day of the first Test between West Indies and Pakistan. Yasir Shah bagged three wickets in the last session on the penultimate day to put Pakistan in command. West Indies are yet to wipe off the deficit. remember, if there is a full day's play possible, there could be seven hours of play. The match is well poised for a result, ie if an entire day's play is possible without any rain or other interruptions.
