West Indies knocked out of World Cup 2019
All too easy for the India bowlers as they wrap up a 125-run win. Shami ends with four, Bumrah and Chahal bag two while Kuldeep walks away with one wicket. From 78 for 2, West Indies collapsed to 143 all out as the batsmen failed to cop with a slightly challenging track.
Dhoni and Kohli scored half-centuries to give India a par score but batting got tough as the match progressed. Spinners came into play a lot more but the India pacers were exceptional.

Cottrell got two big hits in and gets undone by a googly. Pinged in front and given out.

Another poor dismissal from a West Indies batsman. Length ball and wide outside off, slapped straight to point. He walks off disappointed.

A review doesn't save Allen. Length ball and it hurried the batsman. He was pinged in front and was given out lbw. Allen went for the review and it was just clipping the leg stump.

Length ball and coming in, it takes the outside edge of Brathwaite's bat. Dhoni takes a good diving catch to give the pacer a well-earned wicket.

Struck for a boundary past point on the previous delivery, Shami produces a peach. Full and just outside off. Comes in knocks out the off stump. Hope was looking for a big booming drive and was done by the movement and pace. Shami gets his second.

Gayle gone
Superb two deliveries from Shami and it does the trick. The previous ball took off from length and forced Gayle on the backfoot. On the next ball, Shami banged in again and the opener wanted to pull that one. The pace beats him as the ball lobs to mid-on.

Alright then, Gayle on strike and Ambris will open with him. Shami to open the attack for India.

So, West Indies have a very gettable chase ahead of them. Their bowlers bowled well and were helped by a middle-overs stall by India. Rohit fell early but Rahul and Kohli helped the side build momentum.
Vijay Shankar walked in at No. 4 and played 14 dot balls during his stay of 19 balls. Kohli was forced to slow down as Vijay and Jadhav fell without doing much. Dhoni started slow and was lucky to survive a stumping.
Kohli fell to an ordinary fifty after his fourth consecutive half-century. Pandya gave the innings some momentum with his 46 and Dhoni reached his half-century in the last over.

Trying to hit over cover and doesn't connect well. Pandya sends a Cottrell slower delivery to deep point. He falls for 46 off 38.

Dhoni and Pandya have now got a half-century stand to frustrate West Indies. 18 balls remain and India need big hits from Dhoni. The crowd is behind him and the pressure in on the pacers. In the last five overs, India have scored 38 to gain some momentum.

Kohli fails to convert another half-century. Back of length ball, doesn't bounce much, not much pace and Kohli is early into the pull. The ball lobs to short miwicket. What a blow for India. Onus now Pandya and Dhoni to give India a fighting score.

With the pressure of the dot balls mounting, Dhoni decides to walk down the pitch against Allen and gets deceived due to the sharp turn. However, Shai Hope makes a mess of it by not gathering the ball cleanly. He had two chances, but the keeper couldn't make them count. How costly will this missed stumping prove to be?

A half-century for the India captain and this one comes off 55 balls. His fourth consecutive fifty in this World Cup. A boundary and a single to get there in the 28th over.

Vijay falls
Poor, poor knock from Vijay. He struck three boundaries but played 14 dot balls in the 19 he played. That stalled the innings and took away all the momentum Rahul and Kohli had built. Length ball outside off, he poked and edged it. Easy catch for the 'keeper.

25 overs done and looks like the run-scoring has stalled. Shankar is struggling to keep the strike moving. He'son 13 off 17. Three boundaries so far from him and plenty of dot balls which India don't need. Kohli too scoring at just over 80. India need impetus and Vijay isn't able to put the West Indies bowlers under pressure.

Rohit falls
Superb delivery from Roach. Full and swung in. Nipped in and cut the batsman in half. West Indies went for the review and the umpire felt the ball clipped the inside edge. It could have have clipped the pad. It was close but the umpire gave the benefit of the doubt to the bowling side.
Both Rohit and Rahul are disappointed with the result. They throw their head back in disappointment.

Slow start
Good bowling from the West Indies pacers. They haven't overdone the short balls and have tried to swing the balls as well. Cottrell gave eight in his third over and even then just 17 in the first five overs but India haven't lost a wicket as well.
