Tamim Iqbal led the way with a clinical unbeaten 81, offering barely any chances along the way, en route a 131-run stand with Soumya Sarkar, who departed for 80. Windies weren't helped by the fact that their most experienced bowler in Kemar Roach had to leave the field with a hamstring injury just three overs after. Without much to chase down, Bangladesh cruised away to a win, leaving the visitors hapless.
Shai hope's unbeaten century was overshadowed by the loss, but credit to the right-handed opener who batted through the innings while the other batsmen failed to so much so keep Hope company in the middle. He received a blow in the final over of the day which ruled him out of the second innings as Hetmyer kept wickets.
