Massive loss
It's all over. RCB are all out for 113. They managed to go past Warner but couldn't get past Bairstow. That's humiliating. Three losses on the row and this 118-run defeat is certain to knock their confidence. Where do they go from here? What will be Kohli's mindset now? So many questions to answer but that's not the case with SRH. They will be buoyed by the success of their new opening partnership. And they are up and rolling.
RCB cross 100
It didn't look like a possibility when they were reeling at 40/6 but de Grandhomme has dragged them to the three-figure mark. And they lose their eighth wicket too by the way. 104/8 after 18 overs.
RCB touch 50
Some respite if there's any. They manage to go past that dreaded 49 as CDG pulls Kaul for a six.

4 for Nabi
Nabi is having a field day. He replaced Williamson today and now has already picked four wickets. Dube knows there is a long on and he picks him perfectly. RCB are 35/6 and are in real danger of getting bowled out for a score less than 49, lowest in IPL history. That's their own record by the way.
It's Moeen's turn
Ridiculous! Lazy! Atrocious! You name it, RCB have everything to their name tonight. Moeen doesn't get back in time while trying to sneak a single and he is run out. What a disastrous performance this is quickly turning out to be.
Virat falls
Sandeep Sharma comes back and gets rid of Kohli for the sixth time in his career. RCB are sinking and they are sinking fast. This was Kohli's first shot of aggression as he smashed this cover only for Warner to take a very good catch. RCB are 30/4.
AB perishes
Nabi has three to his name. He has gone through AB's defence here. De Villiers anticipated turn while trying to go over cover. There was no turn and boom, his stumps are shattered. RCB are going nowhere here. 22/3 after four overs.
Hetmyer fails again
The promotion doesn't work. Hetmyer looks to take on Nabi but misses the ball completely. It turns away from the batsman a touch after pitching and Bairstow does the rest. Two wickets for Nabi and AB walks in to join Virat out in the middle.
Parthiv falls early
Blessing in disguise? SRH get rid of Parthiv Patel very early in the innings. Nabi does the damage as Parthiv fails to clear the circle. This might help RCB actually. Hetmyer is at one end now Kohli has joined him. These two alongside AB de Villiers will have to play majority of the overs.
Target 232
SRH will already feel that the match is in their bag despite the dodgy bowling lineup they have. Warner and Bairstow have hammered RCB big time.
Ton for Warner
He has been amazing this season with the bat and now he goes onto make a hundred. Bairstow scored a 52-ball ton, Warner took just two more extra balls.
They need to do it again
Record and out
Bairstow and Warner broke the record for the highest opening partnership and then immediately the right-hander mistimes a slog to depart for 114. What a knock! Terrific! SRH are 185/1.
Debut to forget
Prayas Barman will never forget this day. He has been taught a hard lesson by Bairstow who hammered him for four sixes and three fours. Barman ended up conceding 56 in his four overs.
Century from Jonny
He is jumping in delight. This is just his second T20 hundred and first in the IPL. Bairstow takes just 52 balls to get to that landmark. What a knock!!
Update - 164/0 after 15 overs
This is a never ending assault. How many times have we seen a partnership over 150 in the IPL, let alone an opening stand? Bairstow is batting in the nineties, he has taken centerstage today. RCB are clueless. What's going to come our way in these final five overs?
Century stand
Bairstow is really turning it on here. He has hit back-to-back sixes off de Grandhomme and SRH are 105/0 in 10 overs. Not good signs for RCB.

Baistow is pumped. He takes on Barman and smashes him all over the park to reach a fifty. He has outscored Warner here. Now, that's a rare sight. SRH are cruising. RCB desperately need a wicket.

Exactly, one week into the tournament, we have already had a lot of drama and some breathtaking action. We kick off week number 2 in Hyderabad as Royal Challengers Bangalore move out of town once again to search for their first win. Sunrisers Hyderabad have been good so far with David Warner in blazing form and against an attack that really doesn't seem to have a threat, he may fancy his chances of getting a big one once again today under sunny conditions.
Last time these two teams met in Hyderabad, the home side edged past RCB by just five runs. It was an allround performance back by then by their bowlers who defended 146 but this time, they are under the pump. Bhuvneshwar was carted around at the death in the previous game. Sandeep Sharma and Siddarth Kaul haven't looked effective either. Rashid Khan has looked good but hasn't really picked loads of wickets. Are they still the best bowling attack in the tournament?
